How You Can Help

WAVE volunteers power our events, outreach, and fundraising—supporting pediatric cancer research and uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s.

  • Help run charity events and community booths
  • Coordinate sponsorships and local partnerships
  • Create content to raise awareness
  • Support families with resources and logistics

Student Ambassador Program

WAVE connects high schools across Washington through student-led leadership. Each school appoints three ambassadors who complete monthly outreach, education, or engagement projects—expanding awareness of uncompensated care and inspiring peers to act. Ambassadors gain real-world experience in leadership, communication, and community service while serving as a vital bridge between their school communities and WAVE.

Official Member Program

Our Official Members are the backbone of WAVE. Students take on monthly projects in outreach, fundraising, and community engagement—planning events, staffing booths, and leading key areas. A point-based system tracks involvement and opens leadership opportunities. Members fuel our impact while developing practical skills in leadership, organization, teamwork, and project execution.
